We’re looking for a talented developer to join our core development team.

We need someone who genuinely loves coding, truly prides themselves on their ability to create high quality software and who is always looking to build upon their knowledge and skills. You will become an integral part of a talented team of developers working on the best absence management tool in the world.

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Working as part of our Agile development process – Contribute your thoughts and code to our cross-functional Scrum team as we turn ideas into the working software that delights our customers.
  • Build great software – Apply your knowledge of software design to produce clean, testable and maintainable code and a well architected product.
  • Developing your skills – Nurture a genuine interest in our software and keep yourself continually up to date with best practice and innovation in software development. We are always improving the platform, so there will be plenty of opportunities to learn and use new technologies.
  • Continuous improvement – Look for ways to improve our product and processes, and have the initiative to drive change where necessary.
  • Team-player – Work closely with other developers and testers within the Scrum team to ensure that features are completed and tested. 
  • Mentoring – Act as a mentor and positive role-model for junior members of the team.
  • Ongoing Quality Assurance – Collaborate with our Support, Products and Customer Success teams to ensure that we maintain the quality of the product after it has been released to customers. 

About you

To help make sure we’re delivering world-class software solutions, your technical background should include:

  • Proven development expertise with C#, JavaScript and TSQL
  • The ability to write clean, concise and test-covered code
  • A strong conceptual understanding of modern full-stack web development within the Microsoft ecosystem

Additionally, you would benefit from one or more of these:

  • Commercial use of Web API, MVC and Web Forms
  • Strong knowledge of at least one JavaScript framework (Vue.js / jQuery / Knockout preferred but not required)
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Azure platform (particularly App Services and Functions)
  • Familiarity with .Net Core
